Clans of Munga/Məngga:
LE-BADAH CLAN
⚡ The Thunder Keepers & Bringers of Fire 🔥
From exile to impact. This is the Le-Badah story.
🛶 The Journey to Munga/Məngga
Long ago, the Le-Badah people were an integral part of the Bachama tribe. The Bachama had a sacred rule: the kingship must rotate between clans. When it was Le-Badah’s turn, they ruled justly. However, after their king passed away, a rival clan refused to relinquish power. A fierce conflict erupted, and the Le-Badah were ultimately overpowered.
Instead of choosing endless, destructive warfare, Le-Badah chose peace. They went into exile. On their journey, they encountered three Munga clans already settled on the land: Le-Súng, Le-Nwaɓang, and Le-Bakwam. That historic meeting changed the destiny of Munga forever.
🎁 What Le-Badah Brought to Munga
• ⚡ The Thunder of War: Le-Badah arrived with a mystical thunder used exclusively on the warfront. This became Munga’s ultimate secret weapon. The moment enemies heard it echo, they would scatter in panic. To this day, the Le-Badah remain the sole custodians of that war thunder.
• 🔥 Fire for Cooking: Believe it or not, before Le-Badah arrived, our people relied entirely on the sun to bake and dry-cook food. Le-Badah introduced the element of fire. They cooked a meal, served the community, and once the people tasted the incredible difference... history was made. Le-Badah brought the fire that feeds us today!
• 🗣️ The Voice of Victory: Before Munga warriors ever stepped onto a battlefield, the elders consulted Le-Badah. They would listen closely for a sign:
• If the thunder roared = Victory is guaranteed.
• If there was silence = No victory. Le-Badah alone possessed the wisdom to read these cosmic signs.
•
• 🥁 Custodians of the Gbanzing Festival:
• Every September, the vibrant Gbanzing festival brings our people together. The clan responsible for keeping this profound tradition alive and protecting our cultural heritage? The Le-Badah.
💡 The Le-Badah Legacy
Le-Badah teaches us a powerful lesson: Exile does not mean the end. Sometimes, God removes you from a place of comfort just so you can bring light, warmth, and protection to another. They arrived as refugees but became pillars of the community. Munga became unstoppable because of them.
To every son and daughter of the Le-Badah clan: We honor you. Thank you for the thunder that defended us, the fire that feeds us, and the wisdom that guides us. You truly turned pain into purpose. 🙌
