1. RESEARCH YOUR OPTIONS
There are several institutions in the US with several programs and different cost structures. Also these schools have varying scholarship opportunities. So, RESEARCH your options

Where do I Research?
For Undergrads: www.common app.org or www.bigfuture.collegeboard.org

For Graduates: www.petersons.com or www.gradschools.com

Academic Requirements
For undergrad studies, you must have completed secondary school and have grades that qualify you to enter university at home. For Graduates, you must have completed 4 years of University and earn a Bachelor's degree.

When do I start applying?

* 12-18 months in advance
* fall semester starts August or September
* Spring semester starts January or February

2. FINANCE YOUR STUDIES
US study costs $15000 - $72000 per year.
* Evaluate your finances. Competition is high.
* Applications for financial aid go together with applications for admission.
* partial financial aid and scholarship are available to the most competitive students.
* Most expensive schools give higher Scholarship funds.

LET'S TALK ABOUT SCHOLARHIPS
* 2000 institutions award funding towards the Bachelor's Degree
* 800 offer international financial aid above $10000
* 300 offer aid above $20000 per year.
*. 20 can provide full funding that is tuition fees, accommodation fees and others.

To pay less for college
* consider community colleges. They are cheaper. You get an Associate degree after two years in community colleges then
* transfer to a 4 year college to graduate. You spend only two years more. It is called the 2+2 system.
* Location matters! Suburban or rural areas in the South and Midwest of the U.S. generally have the lowest cost of living.
