“Life is what happens after you’ve planned it.”
Four years ago we had this idea that fresh fish and seafood should be available for sale in Windhoek. Starting with imported fresh salmon and tuna, oyster and crab tanks and a weekly catch from the coast, we thought it would be a nice idea to offer some Fish’n Chips and have a bit of sushi available too. You, our friends and guests, embraced the idea of a quirky little fish joint and that "little bit of sushi on the side” – undeniably brilliant sushi - quickly mutated into starters, mains and more ... and before we knew it we had a fairly busy sixty-seater. But life again has other plans and The Fishmonger’s will be closing its doors on 18 March 2016. It’s been a blast, thank you for being a part of it! And should we not see you before the 18th, may your Sushi rice always be tasty, your Salmon skin crispy and your Ceviche fresh and zzzingy!
All the best
