The cAKeland Team managed to deliver, despite the short notice. This was a massive cake, of size 740mm x 1200mm (74cm x 1.2m). We couldn't determine its weight, but the three people who carried it to the car and the four that offloaded it will tell you it was heavy! It couldn't fit in any of our fridge / freezer, so it had to be baked the day before delivery and cooled with an air conditioner and a fan to get the icing to set and crust so that it could withstand the heat at the venue! It couldn't fit through the kitchen doors, so it had to be assembled on the dining table and out through the front door. It was a two layered vanilla and red velvet. Its number of servings are 400 for a 2 layered slice or 800 if the layers are split. Quite the ideal size for big crowd celebrations. Happy 36th Independence Our Motherland, Namibia.
