🚨 KRATE CAFE HOLIDAY NOTICE 🚨

Our cafe will be closed from 30 August – 8 September as the whole gang is heading up to KL!

We’re bringing our most iconic show, The Best Nyonya: A Musical, to KL for Merdeka!

And just when we thought we could catch a breath… we’ll be performing A Chef’s Confession from 4–6 September!

It’s going to be one BUSY week, and honestly we wish we could just bring our coffee machine along with us.

A CHEF’S CONFESSION, An Interactive Murder Mystery Dinning Experience is coming to the very heart of KL.

We’re SO thrilled to be collaborating with The Chow Kit - an Ormond Hotel. A space that feels almost too perfect for this story.

Chow Kit has always been a melting pot of people, food, stories and culture. From its roots as one of KL’s historic neighbourhoods to its notorious reputation and as a place where old meets new, there’s something wonderfully fitting about bringing our 1930s Malaya Peranakan murder mystery right into the heart of it.

If you missed the show in Melaka, this is your chance!

Expect a limited time only Peranakan feast, suspicious characters, secrets, clues, role-play, and a murder you’ll have to solve.

We never imagined this many people would step into our little 1930s murder mystery. Every show was different because of you.
