The Untold Story of Our Crispy Fried Chicken

When we started shaping the concept of Three Plates Full, we knew exactly what we wanted to offer: hearty, comforting dishes that could bring people together. But something was missing — we needed a standout protein that wasn’t pork or beef.

And what better option than fried chicken? After all, it’s one of the most beloved comfort foods across the globe. But here’s the catch: fried chicken is everywhere. It’s fiercely competitive. Every corner has its own version.

Yet, we threw our hat in the ring.

What followed was a journey — a search for the perfect fried chicken recipe that lasted more than a year before we even opened our doors. We dove deep into research, studying fried chicken recipes from all over the world.

We went on a “chicken run” (not literally) to learn the techniques that make each culture’s fried chicken special. From the Southern U.S. style with its bold seasoning and crunchy crust, to the UK’s fish-and-chip-style batter, to the Korean double-fry technique that ensures crispy perfection — we absorbed it all.

In the end, we took a little inspiration from each, and through countless tweaks and taste tests, we created our proprietary recipe — one we believe truly stands on its own.

Now, every time we see one of our guests bite into our crispy fried chicken — that sparkle in their eyes, the slight nod of approval, or a satisfied smile — it reminds us that our chicken-cloying, year-long journey was absolutely worth it.

All the signs are there: cooler weather, happier faces, and the intensity of Mariah Carey’s song All I Want For Christmas Is You grows in strength – It’s Christmas time again!

Three Plates Full is back with our perfected Porchetta – Crunchy skin on the outside, tender, herb-infused meat on the inside, to be paired with tangy yellow mustard and apple sauce, every bite is at first a burst of texture, followed by a flavor serenade.

Break off a few pieces of the succulent porchetta and sandwich it between our homemade Brioche bun to put this combination on over drive. The brioche buns come with thyme and lemon sour cream.

Cashew & Apple Salad is the green of choice this year. Dressed in cider vinaigrette, this tarty salad brings back some balance to the meal.

To bond the whole meal together we have a bowl of Creamy Polenta that is good on its own, or with our rosemary garlic gravy.

Let the Dragon Year rise to a great start with Three Plates Full’s Jamon Iberico Lou Hei dish!

Available Now! Embrace tradition and indulge in eclectic flavours: Relish in the savoury, nutty Jamon slices, balanced with tangy sweet mandarin orange, honey dew and pomelo fruits whilst pickled beetroot, deep fried tofu skins, roasted cashews provide an earthy ground for these heavenly flavours to stand on.
