Nyonya Kuih Platter for 11/1/1 (11/1/2026)

We bring you our Malaysia’s take on petit four. This plate carries a few of our Nyonya condiments often reserved for special calendar events or as a mark of a little one’s First Month of life. On other occasions it just shows a mom’s harvest of love when she was out shopping at the local market this morning.

Starting off this arrangement is our interpretation of one of Malaysia’s well-known Kueh. The star of this condiment has always been the texture and taste of the glutinous skin. Intentionally oversteamed, the softer skin pairs better in texture with its filling and still holds its body. Filled with different ingredients, each bite starts with the taste of the same skin but is transformed by the mung bean, peanut, and gula melaka coconut individually.

At the end of this platter is our pulut Tai-tai paired with our Signature Kaya that highlights sweetness balanced with savory notes for a clean finish.
