This Merdeka season, we’re bringing Sarawak to the table — and giving a few local favourites a rather unexpected place to land.

Our Sarawak Laksa Pizza takes the unmistakable character of an iconic local dish and reimagines it in true Zinc fashion: familiar at heart, unexpected in form.

Pair it with three of our cocktails inspired by ingredients close to home:
Kedondong Cabe — bright, tart kedondong with a little heat.
Kantan Kick — a fragrant kick of local torch ginger flower.
Velvet Nangka — rich, tropical jackfruit with a silky finish.

We’re incredibly proud and grateful to share that Zinc Restaurant & Bar has been recognised among Sarawak’s Top 25 Restaurants at the Soul of Borneo Gala Evening.

For us, Zinc has always been about more than just food and drinks. It’s the late nights in the kitchen, the last table of the evening, the perfect pour at the bar, the familiar faces coming through our doors, and a team that continues to give their best every day.

There have been plenty of long days, busy nights, little challenges and countless moments that never make it onto the camera — but they’re all part of what makes Zinc what it is today.

And to everyone who has sat at our tables, celebrated with us, brought friends along, recommended us, returned for another night or simply stopped by for a drink — thank you. You’ve become a meaningful part of our story. ❤️
