One Saturday. One basket.
Every little card in this basket represents a phone call.
A name. A time. A table planned.
For the past 10 years, one dedicated team member has answered calls every day, writing reservations by hand, rearranging tables, juggling timings, and trying our best to accommodate as many guests as possible.
Do we have to do this? Not really.
Many restaurants simply operate on a first-come, first-served basis - and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Some even embrace long queues as part of the dining experience.
We've simply chosen a different approach.
We still welcome walk-ins whenever we have available tables. But weekends - especially Saturdays - can get busy. Taking reservations helps us plan ahead, reduce unnecessary waiting, and make better use of every table so more people get to enjoy dessert instead of spending their time in a queue.
It's extra work, and completely optional. But we've always believed that your time matters too.
So if you've ever wondered why we encourage reservations by phone, this little basket is the answer.
And if you're feeling spontaneous, do drop by - we'll always do our best to find you a table.
Sometimes, the work people never see is the work that makes the biggest difference.
Thank you for trusting us with your weekends over the past 10 years β€οΈ Love you all, Foomily.
