Siput Moci A seafood restaurant which sells cooked seafood meals as well as fresh seafood, air-flown directly from Sabah. 我们是一家海鲜餐馆，卖新鲜可口海鲜佳肴和套餐，同时零售&批发新鲜海产，全部直接从沙巴空运过来。

An aspiring idea to make fresh seafood affordable for everyone. This is our main business mission and concept. Our company is started with small scale of seafood wholesale supply from Sabah to the small seafood vendors in Klang Valley. With the seafood supply source in our control, we aspire to make seafood affordable for everyone by setting up seafood restaurants in Klang Valley that sell fresh s

eafood air-flown directly from Sabah. Our seafood is directly sourced from the Sabah fishermen whose boats return on shore, we are co-operating with the local fishermen, bypassing the layers of middlemen, wholesalers and grocery stores – all these could easily add up with significant mark-ups. Therefore, with the cost advantage, our restaurants can provide customers in Klang Valley the freshest seafood with reasonable price guaranteed. We would like to provide some elements of surprise and curiosity because there is not a set list of fish types in the menu, it all depends on what the fisherman have caught that day. Therefore we encourage you to come back at different period for seasonal dishes and menu. At the same time, we hope can promote Sabah seafood in Peninsular Malaysia, especially to the seafood lovers who appreciate different types, even more exotic types of seafood.

感谢您一路以来对我们的信任和支持！

很遗憾地通知您一个坏消息——我们将在本月底关闭在哥打白沙罗 Sunway Giza 购物中心的业务，6月29日将会是我们的最后一天营业日。

自2022年11月起，Siput Moci走过了20个月的历程。我们非常荣幸能将这一餐厅概念带到巴生谷，从沙巴古达到哥打白沙罗，为您提供新鲜、实惠且可持续性的沙巴海鲜。我们始终坚持高标准，并相信已经兑现了我们的承诺和中心价值。我们秉持独特的家乡食谱和优质食品，同时确保为您提供负担得起的选择，誓要让每个人都能享用新鲜海鲜，对此我们感到非常自豪。看到顾客们的好评和反馈，我们深感欣慰，也证明了我们走在正确的道路上。

然而，与其他餐饮业一样，要想不倒闭，销量是关键因素。我们一直未能达到维持生存所需的销售目标。从一开始我们就处于亏损状态，而最近几个月的销售业绩进一步显示，短期内我们难以缩小差距。今年农历新年的销售表现曾让我们看到了一线希望，但随后的几个月证明这不过是一个虚假的曙光，销售额又回到了农历新年前的亏损水平。

我们已尽力改善餐厅的外观和氛围，包括在合适的位置安装鱼缸，并重新设计内部装饰，以更好地体现沙巴古达原产地餐厅的面貌。虽然我们对视觉效果感到满意（在没有进行大规模的高档装修工程之下），但这并没有显著改善我们的财务状况。

我们尊重团队的工作，确保不拖欠或延迟员工的工资，并始终努力做一个负责任的雇主。然而，在销售额未见明显改进的情况下，我们的资金已经枯竭，维持经营变得愈发困难。因此，我们不得不做出这个艰难的决定。

我们感谢您在此期间对我们的支持，特别感谢那些加入海鲜爱好者俱乐部并长期回头光顾我们的忠实顾客。对于我们经营中的不足之处，我们深表歉意。

Dear beloved patrons of Siput Moci,

Thank you for your unwavering support all these years!

We are afraid to give you the bad news - we will be closing our operations at Kota Damansara Sunway Giza by the end of this month. 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟗 will be officially our last day.

Siput Moci has been in operation since November 2022, it has been a journey of 20 months. We are proud to bring the idea and concept to the Klang Valley to deliver you the fresh, affordable and sustainable Sabah seafood all the way from Kudat, Sabah to Kota Damansara. We live by the standard and we believe that we have delivered on our promises and value, and we certainly stand by and are still very proud of our unique hometown recipes and high food quality, while ensuring that there are affordable options for you so that everyone can eat fresh seafood. Looking at the good reviews and feedback from our customers, we are happy and know that we are on the right track.

However, like any other F&B business, it is certainly a volume game to stay afloat or fly. We have not achieved the volume and sales target to survive. We've been operating at a loss since the beginning, and the sales performance in recent months doesn't suggest that we'll be able to close the gap in the near future. This year's Chinese New Year sales had given us a glimmer of hope, but the following months proved to be a false dawn as our sales returned to pre-CNY deficit levels. We had tried our best to improve the look and feel by installing our fish tanks in the right place and (re)designing the interior to offer much authenticity of a Sabah Kudat origin restaurant, we are happy with the visual result (without the major works of upscale renovation). However, this does not improve the fortune much.

We respect the work of our team, we never owe or delay our staff their well-deserved wages, we always strive to be responsible owners. As our finances have dried up and become increasingly unsustainable without a significant improvement in sales, we have to make this decision.

We thank you for your support throughout this time, especially our loyal customers who have joined the Seafood Lovers Club and continue to return to us. We are sorry for any shortcomings on our part.

The 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 is that over the next two weeks we will be running great promotional offers for all of you as a way of saying 'thank you' and 'goodbye'. We would love to see you come back and catch up.

This is not the end of Siput Moci. We refuse to give up and will find the next best opportunity to appear in another setting or format, which would have to be much more financially viable.

2) Birthday promotion is only valid in birthday month.
3) If a SLC member wishes to celebrate a non-member's birthday, the non-member must join the SLC (free registration).
4) The free individual meal for the birthday person will be a choice of Fish Fillet Rice or Prawn Rice.
5) The complimentary drink for the birthday person (and the party) will be from the Sabah Special Drinks Menu. Only the first drink is free.

Guess what? We have new seafood arrivals from the shores of Sabah in the South China Sea! It's been a long time since we've posted pictures of our beautiful (and rare) new fish arrivals, so if not now, when?

Have a look at the delicious and exciting list of fresh fish:
- Sunuh (7 star grouper or leopard coral grouper)
- Sunuh Burung (Lyretail grouper)
- Lepeh (Painted sweetlips)
- Ketambak (Ornate Emperor)
- Kerapu Hitam
- Kerapu Stim
- Temanong
- Titir Hitam
- Flower Prawns

For steaming, Sunuh, Sunuh Burung, Kerapu Stim would be just perfect for you, you can trust us to do the cooking for you to taste the freshness! Our signature sauces Nyonya Moci and Taucu Moci would go well with this.

For grilling, why not try Ketambak, Kerapu Hitam, Temanong and Lepeh? These can be accompanied by our fan favourite sauces such as Wet Butter, 3 Flavours and Sweet & Sour.
