This uncle and his wife, aunty hold a very special place in our hearts. Ever since our humble beginnings in Pulau Tikus, they have been coming to Anamika Spice Kitchen every single Friday, without fail. Even after we moved, their love and support for us never changed.
Running a small business is never easy. There are days filled with struggles, sleepless nights, disappointments, and moments when I honestly feel like giving up.
But then comes Friday…
And there they are. Uncle and aunty, walking through our doors, just like they have been doing since day one.
They may not realise it, but their presence means so much more to us than just another sale or another meal served.
It’s a reminder that all our sacrifices, tears, and hard work have not gone unnoticed.
Sometimes, when the weight of running this business feels too heavy, it’s people like them who silently give us the strength to keep going.
They don’t need to say anything special. Just seeing their familiar faces walking into our restaurant is enough to remind us why we started this journey in the first place.
To our dearest uncle and aunty, thank you for growing with us, believing in us, and continuing to support us through every chapter of Anamika Spice Kitchen.
You may think you’re just coming for your usual Friday meal, but to us, you’re one of the reasons we haven’t given up.
From Pulau Tikus to Jelutong, some things have changed. But your love and loyalty have remained the same.
And that is something money can never buy.
