We’ve had our eyes on this space for a long time, and this year, we are incredibly pleased to finally set up our first outlet in Putrajaya after the management team reached out and invited us to bring Vietnam's Finest Coffee here at Galleria Putrajaya.

A few years ago, Kee Nguyen started from a car boot with a simple idea:

To share the kind of Vietnamese coffee we fell in love with in Vietnam.

Last month, we had the opportunity to bring our very own coffee to Japan at Startup JAPAN EXPO.

We didn't go there to sell. We went there to listen, learn and share.

Over the course of the event, hundreds of cups were served to Japanese visitors, founders, operators and investors. What stood out most wasn't the business conversations, but the reactions after the first sip.

Many told us the coffee felt bold, memorable and different from what they were used to. Some even returned to our booth more than once during the event.

What surprised us even more was how many people connected with our story. Starting from a car boot with limited resources is something that resonates deeply with many Japanese visitors who understand the value of persistence and building slowly over time.

We're grateful for every conversation, every piece of feedback and every person who took a chance on trying something unfamiliar to them.

Japan was never a market we even imagined reaching when we first started.

But standing there last month, sharing Vietnamese coffee with people from across Japan, reminded us how far a simple cup of coffee can travel.

Arigatou gozaimasu, Japan.

This is only the beginning.
