One of the Originals at Reframe when we first started, we’re so happy to welcome back our Penang boy as he does a quick stop at our little bar to showcase some of his personal favorites.

Gabrel has come a very long way since beginning his barista career here back in 2017, now a well-recognized coffee professional in Melbourne, Australia - running his own microroastery .coffee as well as Brand Ambassador of Venezione Coffee Coffee Roasters. He has achieved 2x Runners-Up & 1x Second Runners-Up in Australian Barista Championships making him a super-seasoned competitor. He travels round the world searching for the best coffees and you may have spotted him once or twice at World of Coffee expos

Welcome 2025! Starting the year off today with Myanmar Aromatic Coop on black and our old faithful Brazil Dutra Jatoba on white.
We hope you have enjoyed all the coffees we've sourced, roasted and served for you thru 2024. Looking forward to more exciting ones as we shift focus towards espresso sides hoping to unlock better consistency and sweetness at the bar and increased extractions from roasting
