Our barista, Weng San, is back from Penang and brought some incredible flavors along with her.

01. Citrus Sonata from .pg

如果你看到我们的barista最近看起来有点黑眼圈,
大概是因为这款 Applewood :)

当barista不再满足于一杯简单的咖啡时, 他们选择了一条最麻烦的路:

3小时低温慢煮 (Sous vide):将红苹果的清甜与哥伦比亚中焙豆深度融合
3-6小时静置双重过滤:慢煮结束后, 用滤纸进行了长达半天的二次手工过滤, 追求那种极度丝滑, 毫无杂质的纯净口感

最后抹上一层轻盈的肉桂奶油, 放上一片自家烘干的苹果片,
这不只是一杯饮料, 这是一场登月球的实验成果!!! 喝了会变外星人 👽

When baristas get bored, they don’t just make coffee, they start ”projects.“

We took our original Applewood and pushed it to the limit. We’re talking 3 hours of sous vide with fresh red apples and Columbia medium roast to lock in that natural, crisp sweetness.

But the real ”madness“ happens next:
we spend another half day double filtering the liquid through coffee filter paper, drop by painstaking drop. It’s a slow, tedious process, but it’s the only way to achieve that crystal clear clarity and silky mouthfeel we’re obsessed with.

Topped with cinnamon light cream and a dehydrated apple slice, it’s a labor of love that takes hours to prep, but only seconds to fall in love with.

Three years have passed, and we’re still grateful to everyone who comes to Nost for our Ichigo Daifuku 🫶🏼
Every morning we prep and wrap our daifuku mochi,
like keeping a steady heartbeat for this little space.

The cutest part hasn’t changed…
there are still people who genuinely ask,
“Does the strawberry daifuku actually have a strawberry?” 🤓

but we’re not stopping.

We’ll still be creating.
Still dreaming.
Still preparing something new at our old space ☺️
