🚨 HAPPENING NOW IN RINCÓN, PUERTO RICO 🚨

The people of Puerto Rico are standing up against needless deforestation and government overreach as authorities attempt to destroy lush, healthy trees to build an unnecessary sidewalk. Peaceful protestors are holding a sit-in to protect the environment, but they are being met with riot police, intimidation, and force.

💔 This is an attack on both human rights and the environment. The voices of the people are being ignored in favor of destructive policies that serve no real benefit to the community.

🌳 Why destroy nature for no reason?
🚔 Why send militarized police against peaceful citizens?
⚠️ Why silence the people when they are fighting for their land?
