Some healthy fats... 🥑🍳🥥🥜🥩
👀There is a nutritional revolution going on. Have you noticed it?
-
🥑 Over the last few years, "healthy fats" have become a thing. Ketosis diets are the craze, and people are achieving incredible results by eating deliciously fatty foods.
-
🥓 I can sense your mind racing, so let me be clear: Am I saying that you can go out and eat truckloads of bacon? Of course not. Your diet still needs to be balanced. But research is showing that including high-fat foods in our diet, like bacon, butter & eggs, can be extremely beneficial to us. Especially beneficial to include with our most important meal of the day: Breakfast.
-
👨🏫For years we have been taught to avoid fats like the plague. It turns out the nutritional guidelines we have been living with may have been wrong all along.
-
🤔So how did we get in this mess to begin with?
-
🍎Since the 1970's, federal guidelines have advocated for more carbs in the form of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. What came out of this (what the average American understood) was that carbs — any kind of carbs — were good (even refined carbohydrates!) while fat was bad.
-
☠️The food industry pounced: High-carb, low-fat foods became the norm. Grocery store shelves and refrigerators were soon lined with low- and no-fat items that were packed with sugar — because without any natural fat, a lot of favorite foods just didn’t taste good anymore. Not coincidentally, both a sugar addiction as well as an obesity epidemic in America began soon after low-fat diets became the standard recommendation.
-
☑️Bottom Line: Spend your energy focusing reducing your refined sugar intake, and not your fat intake.
Have a nice and healthy day,my friend!
- I do it in a pure way!
