Advancing equity and leadership begins long before formal roles. It begins with the foundations laid by those who shape us.

Today, I honor my mother, who passed away 16 years ago.

She served as a registered nurse, Child Care Health Consultant, and Legal Nurse Consultant, and was also an evangelist alongside my father, Bishop Keith Allen.

As Dean of Education at Vision Christian Academy and Little Visions of Rehoboth Child Development Center, a world traveler, and a motivational speaker, she lived a life of service, faith, and leadership across every space she entered.

This photo was taken by my sister Roshanne Allen when they traveled together to San Francisco for a legal nurse consulting training. It captures our mom in a moment that reflects both her professionalism and her presence.

Her life shaped my understanding of what it means to lead with purpose, to serve with excellence, and to remain grounded in faith. The work I do today is deeply rooted in the foundation she established.

Though she is no longer here, her legacy lives on in me and in our family.

Women who lead often do so across many roles, and their impact carries across generations.

Keki Mawe is a social enterprise that produces various nutritious biscuits and powders to alleviate malnutrition. We also work with farmers across Malawi to grow various nutritious crops (such as biofortified legumes) and we also empower them with training programs, seed distribution and a market access opportunity for their produce. This past year we have managed to engage with farmers in Mzimba, Thyolo, Mulanje, Phalombe, Zomba and Lilongwe.

Keki Mawe Holdings is now officially opened in Malawi. We are now in Thyolo, Zomba, Mzuzu and Lilongwe. Our factory is also ready to take off and we will have our available in all our shops in all shops very soon. You will also be able to order online soon.
