Growing up, this simple meal was one of my father's favorites. I had always dreamed of recreating it as a cake and surprising him one day. Sadly, that day never came.
Today, I had the opportunity to bring that idea to life for a client's father's birthday. As I shaped every detail, I couldn't help but think of my own dad and the memories we shared.
What makes this cake even more special is that it is 100% edible—every grain of rice, every piece of fish, every slice of onion and lime was handcrafted from sugar and edible ingredients.
This cake is dedicated to fathers everywhere—especially the ones we carry in our hearts forever. 🤍
Happy Birthday to a wonderful dad, and may Allah grant my father the highest place in Jannah. Aameen.
