Hiring: DEEP Cleaning & Room Hygiene TECHNICIAN in Flic en Flac

We are hiring a Deep Cleaning & Room Hygiene Technician to take ownership of the long-term cleanliness, sanitation, and physical condition of our hotel rooms, with a strong focus on bathrooms and other high-humidity areas. This is not a housekeeping role. Daily cleaning, bed making, and guest turnover are
handled by the housekeeping team.

Core Responsibilities
• Deep cleaning of hotel rooms with focus on bathrooms, corners, grout, silicone seams, drains, and hidden
buildup
• Removal and professional re-application of silicone sealant (showers, sinks, joints)
• Minor wall and ceiling repairs, patching, and painting after deep cleaning
• Internal cleaning of air-conditioning units (filters, vents, accessible drip areas)
• Cleaning behind and under furniture and fixed installations
• Use of professional equipment (steam cleaners, wet/dry vacuums, rotary tools, polishing machines)
• Safe and correct use of chemicals and PPE
• Identification and reporting of structural or ventilation issues affecting room condition
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in deep cleaning, facilities maintenance, or commercial sanitation
• Confident, clean silicone application with proper preparation and finishing
• Basic painting skills (walls, ceilings, touch-ups)
• Comfortable using power tools and professional cleaning equipment
• Able to work independently and methodically, one room at a time

This role does NOT include
• Making beds or changing linens
• Daily or turnover cleaning
• Rushed check-in / check-out timelines

You are representing Seastar Hotel at the reception. You smile and greet the guest with some personal words. You are interested in their plans and you remember their names to chit chat during the stay.
At the same time you organise excursions, overlook the cafe´ area and have an eye on the deliveries.
