Keep an eye out for the themed nights ... Ta’ Marija Folklore dinner shows are held every Friday (all year) evening. At around 9.30pm the folklore show is held featuring six dancers in traditional eighteenth century costumes, who will lure you into a jovial story of Maltese history told through dance. Our dance-floor also elevates to enable you to watch the show comfortably from your dining table. After the show, and apres-dinner, Ta’ Marija’s dance-floor will light up, with soft or popular music according to the mood, to make your own history of a truly unforgettable evening. Ta’ Marija's decor takes in many typical Maltese characteristics, such as the rubble inspired walls, wooden trellises and various hanging farming artefacts. Seating arrangements can easily be altered according to needs and is able to host any type of function: from good value meals for groups to the most sumptuous champagne gala dinners. The menu incorporates a fresh and genuine take on Malta’s food heritage. The traditional recipes, passed down the generations, arrive at your table the day they are harvested...freshly caught fish, fresh meat cuts, fruit and vegetables. While the variety available will certainly appeal to all tastes, the more adventurous will revel in tasting some ‘out of the ordinary’ Maltese dishes – octopus stew, rabbit liver or maybe some Maltese farmhouse snails.
