Il- Kartell is one of the first standalone restaurants in Marsalforn Bay and has truly been a family affair since its inception in the early nineteen seventies. Our concept is simple, It’s really about using as much of what we can source locally and freshly to deliver you a supreme experience in local and Mediterranean cuisine. ly basis, caught from our families vessels and from the shore exclusively for Il-Kartell. Il-Kartell remains, somewhat of a local cornerstone in the world of dining and leisure, the foundations of our kitchen and restaurant are built amongst the original structures of three boat houses and it is this opening chapter of the Il-Kartell story that we have returned to in our
efforts and passion to deliver you the very best in casual dining by the sea. You will find our menu offers a wide variety of wholesome soups, fresh salads, creative light dishes, platters and antipasto and sumptuous fish, meat, poultry and game combinations suitable for both lazy lunches and relaxed evening suppers.

After the storm passed 🙏 and the repairs are almost complete as we have suffered severe damages, we’re happy to announce that we will be offically reopening our doors this weekend ‼️💯✨

As we welcome the year ahead, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our valued clients, our hardworking and dedicated staff, and our supportive family and friends. Your encouragement, loyalty, and belief in us mean more than words can express.

This coming year marks a very special milestone for us — our 10th anniversary under new managment. Reaching this achievement would not have been possible without the continued support of each and every one of you.
