မတ်လ(၂၈)ရက်နေ့မြေငလျင်ဖြစ်ပြီးကတည်းက အင်းလေးကန်မှာ အရေးပေါ်အကူအညီပေးမှုများကို အပြည့်အဝ နှစ်မြှုပ်လုပ်ဆောင်ပေးနေခဲ့ရတာကြောင့် အချိန်နဲ့တပြေးညီ တင်ပြပေးဖို့ ကြန့်ကြာသွား ခဲ့ရလို့ တောင်းပန်ပါတယ်။
လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့တဲ့ အခြေအနေများကို ဖော်ပြလိုပါတယ်။
ရက်ရက်ရောရောပေးကမ်းလာတဲ့လှူဒါန်းမှုတွေကိုလက်ခံရရှိခဲ့တာကြောင့်ကျွန်မအနေနဲ့ လှိုက်လှိုက် လှဲလှဲကျေးဇူးတင်ရင်း ကျွန်မတို့ရဲ့ ဒေသခံအင်းသားညီအစ်ကိုမောင်နှမတွေကို ကူညီမစမှု ပြုလုပ်နိုင် ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
မိတ်ဆွေတို့ရဲ့ လှူဒါန်းမှုတွေနဲ့ ဒေသခံစေတနာ့ဝန်ထမ်းတွေရဲ့ မမောနိုင်မပန်းနိုင်ဘဲလုပ်ဆောင် အားထုတ်မှုတွေအားဖြင့် အဖဘုရားသခင်ရဲ့ လက်တော်ဖြင့် လုပ်ဆောင်မှုတွေကို အံ့သြဖွယ်ရာ တွေ့မြင်ခွင့်ရခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ကျွန်မတို့ အနေနဲ့ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့တစ်လအတွင်းမှာ ပြီးမြောက်နိုင်ခဲ့တဲ့အရာတွေကတော့:
• လူဦးရေ (၃၇၅၀) အတွက် အစားအစာများကို ပူပူနွေးနွေး ချက်ပြုတ်ကျွေးမွေးခဲ့ခြင်း
• ပူပြင်းတဲ့နေ့တနေ့ မှာ ဖရဲသီးအလုံး (၅၀၀) ကို လှေဖြင့် လိုက်လံဝေငှခဲ့ခြင်း
• လူ (၁,၀၀၀) ကို ဆေးဝါးနှင့် ဓါတ်ဆားထုပ်များ ဖြန့်ဖြူးပေးခဲ့ခြင်း
• ပြိုကျနေသော နေအိမ်(၅) လုံးကို ဖြိုဖျက်ကာ ပြိုပျက်ရာထဲမှ ပြန်လည်အသုံးပြုနိုင်သေးသည့် ပစ္စည်းများကို ကူညီ ဆယ်တင်ပေးခဲ့ခြင်း
• အိမ်ထောင်စု ၈၀ စာအတွက် အိမ်ဆောက်ပစ္စည်းများ ဝေငှပေးကမ်းခဲ့ခြင်း
• ကြင်နာခြင်းနှင့် သိမ်မွေ့ယုယသော အပြုအမူတစ်ခုအဖြစ် မြေငလျင်ဘေးမှ လွတ်မြောက် လာခဲ့သူ (၁၁၅)ဦးကို အလေးအမြတ်ထားလျက် စိတ်ဒဏ်ရာများကို ကုစားပေးသည့်အနေနှင့် နှစ်သစ်ကူးသင်္ကြန်အချိန်အတွင်း ခေါင်းလျှော်ပေးခဲ့ခြင်း၊ ခြေသည်းလက်သည်းညှပ်ပေးခဲ့ခြင်း
• နေအိမ်များ ဆောက်လုပ်ရန်အတွက် တောင်ပေါ်ရှိ ဝါးလုံးရှည်ပေါင်း (၁,၅၀၀) ကို ခုတ်ထစ်ပြီး သယ်ဆောင်ပေးခဲ့ခြင်း
• အင်းလေးကန်တွင် ပထမဆုံးရေပေါ်အိမ်ကလေးကို တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ခဲ့ခြင်း၊ နှင့် နောက်ထပ် လည်း ၄င်းအိမ်ကလေးများကို ဆက်လက်တည်ဆောက်နေခြင်းတို့ကို အတူတကွလုပ်ဆောင် နိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ဒါတွေဟာ စိတ်စေတနာ နှင့် စိတ်ဓါတ်ကြံ့ခိုင်မှုတို့ လှပစွာ ပေါင်းစည်းမှုကြောင့်သာမဟုတ်ခဲ့ရင် ဖြစ်နိုင်မှာမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။
မြန်မာ၊ ထိုင်း၊ စင်္ကာပူနှင့် USA တို့မှ လက်ဆောင်များနှင့် လှူဒါန်းမှုများကို လက်ခံရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။
• အခမဲ့တည်းခိုခွင့်နှင့် အလုပ်လုပ်ရန်နေရာထိုင်ခင်းအတွက် မေတ္တာပြပါဝင်တဲ့ ဟိုတယ်တစ်ခု ရဲ့ အကူအညီနဲ့ ဧရာဝတီတိုင်းဒေသကြီးမှ ကျွမ်းကျင်လက်သမား (၂၅) ဦးကို လက်ခံနေရာ ပေးနိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ သူတို့က နှစ်ရက်ကြာခရီးပြုခဲ့ရပြီး နှစ်ပတ်နေထိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ သူတို့ကို စေလွှတ်ပေးသော အသင်းတော်များနှင့် မိမိတို့၏ အချိန်နှင့် အစွမ်းအစများကို ဆက်ကပ်ခဲ့ ကြသော လက်သမားဆရာများကို အလွန်ပင် ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။ သူတို့တွေလမ်းခရီးမှာ တထောက်နားလို့ ပြုစုကူညီပေးခဲ့တဲ့ အင်းစိန်ရွာမနှစ်ခြင်းအသင်းတော်ကိုလည်း ကျေးဇူး တင်ကြောင်း ပြောလိုပါတယ်။
• ပအိုဝ်း၊ ရှမ်း၊ လားဟူနှင့် တောင်ကြီးအသင်းတော်များမှ ဆက်ကပ်အစေခံသူ ၃၅ဦးတို့က လည်း တောင်များကိုဖြတ်ကျော်ကာ ဝါးလုံးရှည်များကို မိုးထဲရေထဲမှာပင် ခုတ်ထစ် သယ်ယူ ကူညီပေးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
• ကျွန်မတို့နဲ့အတူ ရန်ကုန်နှင့် ကလောတို့မှ ဆက်ကပ်အစေခံသူ (၁၆)ဦးတို့ကလည်း အစား အသောက်များ ထုပ်ပိုးခြင်း၊ ကလေးများအတွက်အစီအစဥ်များကို လက်ခံဆောင်ရွက်ပေး ခြင်း၊ ခေါင်းလျှော်ပေးခြင်းတို့အတွက် ပူးပေါင်းကူညီပေးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
ညီအကိုတို့သည် သဘောတူလျက် အတူတကွလုပ်ဆောင်ခြင်းဟာ ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့မှာ အလွန် တင့်တယ် လျောက်ပတ်ပြီး မွှေးကြိုင်တဲ့ယဇ်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
လိုအပ်နေတဲ့ကွက်လပ်လေးတွေမှာ ဖြည့်ပေးကြလို့ ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။ လုပ်စရာတွေ အများကြီး ကျန်နေသေးပေမယ့် မျှော်လင့်ချက်ရောင်နီက ရေပေါ်မှာ တဖြည်းဖြည်းပေါ်လာလို့နေပါပြီ။

I’m sorry it’s taken so long to post an update — we’ve been fully immersed in relief work on Inle Lake since the March 28 earthquake.
I’m deeply humbled by the outpouring of generosity we’ve received so we can help our Intha neighbors.
Through your donations and the tireless work of local volunteers, we have seen God’s hand at work in remarkable ways.
Here’s what we’ve accomplished together this past month:
• Cooked and served 3,750 hot, homecooked meals
• Distributed 500 watermelons by boat on a hot day
• Supplied medicine and oral rehydration solution to 1,000 people
• Helped 5 families dismantle their collapsed homes and salvage usable materials
• Delivered building supplies for 80 households
• Washed the hair of 115 earthquake survivors during the Water Festival — a tender act of dignity and trauma healing
• Cut and carried 1,500 bamboo poles through mountain terrain for building homes
Built the very first floating home on Inle Lake — with more on the way!
This work wouldn’t have been possible without a beautiful coalition of generosity and grit. We’ve received gifts and donations from Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, and the USA.
• We hosted 25 skilled carpenters from the Ayeyarwaddy Region with the help of a generous hotel that gave us free lodging and a place to work. The carpenters traveled two days and stayed two weeks. Big thanks to the churches who sent them and the carpenters who gave their time and talent. Also thanks to Ywama Baptist Church in Insein for taking care of them on the journey.
• 35 volunteers from Pa-O, Shan, Lahu and Taunggyi churches helped us cut and carry bamboo poles through the mountains — in the rain.
• 16 volunteers from Yangon and Kalaw joined us to package meals, host children’s activities, and wash hair.
Brothers and sisters working together is a beautiful sight and sweet aroma to the Lord.
Thank you for standing in the gap. There’s still much to be done, but hope is already rising on the waters.
