Was my total concentration on hummus

Лично я, теряю жалкие остатки самоконтроля
Вместе со всем, произраильски настроенным, чесным людом
Недоумевая как, арабское пюре из диковатой фасоли
Стало главным национальным Израильским блюдом

Разумеется, речь тут пойдёт о гастрономических пиках
Об искусстве достижения кулинарных апогеев
Описанное в древних Арабских поваренных книгах
Где похоже - всё обошлось без участия евреев

Но тут не обошлось без Всевышнего участья
Дух возвышенности, в лёгком перекусе
Дополнил вкусы жизни привкусами счастья
И оливкового масла послевкусьем.

And we have falafel , falafel, falafel, a present for Dad, even Mum buys it here, for old Grandma we'll buy half a portion.
And today even the mother-in-law will get falafel, falafel, with lots and lots of peppers.
