The Last Cup...
Every story eventually reaches its final page.
Kofi Khafetsa was never just a coffee shop. It was a small corner where conversations stretched longer than the cups on the table, where strangers became familiar faces, and where ideas, laughter, worries, and dreams were poured as freely as the coffee itself.
To everyone who walked through our doors: THANK YOU.
Thank you for the mornings, the long afternoons, the debates, the quiet moments, and the many memories that made this place more than just a business. You gave life to Kofi Khafetsa in ways that no plan or blueprint ever could.
Today, we turn the final page of this chapter.
Kofi Khafetsa is now officially closed.
But while the story of Kofi Khafetsa comes to an end, the space that held so many of those moments will not fall silent. Places like this are shaped by people, and sometimes their stories simply continue in new hands.
It is comforting to know that someone who has part of this community, a familiar face to many who sat at these tables, will now carry that spirit forward.
We would therefore like to extend our appreciation and warm encouragement toward Madaly's Lounge, a new space that will now call this place home.
While it is its own independent enterprise, with its own vision and journey ahead, it is led by someone who understands the spirit of gathering, conversation, and community that lived here.
If you are looking for a place to meet, share stories, and enjoy good company, we encourage you to show Madaly’s Lounge the same warmth and support you once showed us. ❤️
Kofi Khafetsa may be closing its doors, but the community that lived within it does not end here.
