Today is a very special day for us at Emily’s Kitchen. Seeing you reach the end of your six-month journey fills my heart with so much joy and pride.
When you first came here, many of you did not know what to expect. Some of you were not confident in the kitchen, some were still discovering your talents, and some probably wondered whether you would really make it through the six months.
But today, look at you. ❤️
You have learned how to cook, bake, plate, present food, work as a team, manage pressure, and most importantly, you have learned to believe in yourselves.
I want you to understand that the six months were never just about learning how to cook. They were about building discipline, confidence, creativity and a skill that can open doors for you.
At Emily’s Kitchen, we believe in Building Futures Through Cooking. And today, you are taking another step towards building your own future.
As you leave us, please don’t think that your journey ends here. This is only the beginning. Take everything you have learned and use it. Start something of your own. Apply for opportunities. Work hard. Keep learning. And never be ashamed of starting small.
There will be days when things don’t go according to plan. There will be people who doubt you. There will be moments when you feel like giving up.
Please remember the person you were when you first walked through the doors of Emily’s Kitchen, and look at the person you are today.
You have already proven to yourselves that you can grow.
I am proud of every single one of you. Thank you for trusting Emily’s Kitchen with part of your journey, for showing up, for learning, for making mistakes and trying again, and for becoming part of our family.
As you go forward, carry the name of Emily’s Kitchen with pride—but most importantly, carry the skills, discipline and confidence you gained here.

May your hands never lack work, may your talent open doors for you, and may everything you learned here become a stepping stone to a brighter future.
