Another step forward in empowering Sri Lanka’s youth through skills, training, and meaningful career opportunities. ☕🎓

Interviews for the 3rd batch of the Barista Vocational Training Programme, conducted in partnership with the National Youth Corps, were held at the Duncan White Auditorium of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Selected trainees will begin with a 14-day Life Skills Training Programme in November, followed by an NVQ Level 3 Barista training programme fully approved by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). The programme includes 80 hours of theoretical training and 900 hours of practical training across the Barista Coffee Lanka outlet network.

Throughout the training period, participants will receive a monthly allowance, meals, uniforms, and transportation facilities, while those who successfully complete the programme will be provided with employment opportunities at Barista Coffee Lanka.

Through the 3rd batch of this initiative, Barista Coffee Lanka continues to support youth development by creating pathways from vocational training to meaningful career opportunities and long-term growth. 🤎

Different experiences, perspectives, and ideas filled the room as participants came together to listen, share, and explore a topic that continues to shape today’s workplaces.
