Last order at 20.00. Lao Culture, particularly its textiles and cuisine, is linked to the ancient silk road trading routes. The Silk Road Cafe connects Lao cuisine to its shared heritage with cultures of the ancient silk routes. The menu is inspired by traditional lao flavors, as well as flavors and ingredients from countries traversed by caravans and traders carrying silk and spice. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients, our chef creates healthy and tasty dishes! We are located in two places, one in the city center and an other one at a 5 min drive with our free tuk tuk available anytime on demand. The two locations will allow you to enjoy whether the charm of Luang Prabang city center in our tropical garden on the main road, or to relax on our peaceful terrace located just over the mekong, with no walls to allow an unobstructed view of the river and gardens. In addition to breakfast and lunch, the Silk Road Cafe serves brunch and afternoon tea that is available daily. The Cafe was recently awarded the top restaurant in Luang Prabang, with high accolades for menu and ingredients, service and ambience.
