Now that the dust has settled…

The management and Staff of Buju B & D’s Place extend hearty and sincere thanks to the Nevis Tourism Authority and Ministry of Tourism Nevis for acknowledging Brian Powell affectionately known as ‘Buju’ for his contribution towards the Nevis Mango Festival. Buju looked forward to the event each year and dedicated his time and effort, since the inception of the festival to ensure his customers were happy and contributed to the overall success of the event. We are grateful for such consideration and wish the Nevis Tourism Authority and every one involved much success with its future festivals.

We would also like to congratulate Mr. Keston Herbert on winning the cocktail competition, in honour of Buju. Everyone really went above and beyond to highlight his culinary contribution to the federation and with that we are overwhelmed by the love and kind gesture.

We are grateful for his life and will continue to honour him by carrying on his legacy because he was simply a 🙌🏾
