She is the eldest of four siblings, and because of that, she instinctively became the caring being that she is. She cares for people. She loves people. She feeds people! Lynetta completed her education at the Charlestown Secondary School and soon after migrated to St. Having lived and worked in St Maartin for seven years, expanded her intellect, and widened her prospective of life, she decided it
was time to return home. Upon Lynetta’s return to Nevis, she opened a clothing store but she knew that this was not her forte. Cooking was! She soon began selling hotdogs in the clothing store in the little space she occupied in the Hunkin’s Complex. Then, she started baking pastries at home to sell at the store. She soon realized that she had to get out of the clothing business and commit to her true love. So, she relocated to the Longstone Building. This space served as home to Lyn’s Deli for well over 20 years and saw the business grow into a Nevisian staple. The support from the Nevisian community has been overwhelming. Thus, she’s giving back. Lyn’s Deli will become a regular sponsor of Nevis Culturama Festival and occasionally engage in feeding the less fortunate in the community. Lyns is an astute and professional woman with more than 30 years of experience. She has recognized her passion and used it to create a thriving business in the Nevis Community. Lyn’s Deli is now located in the Park Ville Complex. Lyn’s Deli is home of an appetizing local meal, a chill spot, and a place where all is welcome.
