On Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th, we will be closed for a series of private events.
Our Sunday Banana leaf Thali is also cancelled this week and will resume the following Sunday.

We open as usual on Monday 20th for dinner (5pm to 10pm).

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and we hope to serve you again.

Dakshin's Phnom Penh will be closed from 14th (Tuesday) to 17th (Friday) of April to give our staff time for them to enjoy the new year festivities.

We are open as usual on the 18th (Saturday) of April.

We are closed for dinner on Friday, 13th March 2026, for a Private Event. We are open as usual for lunch (11am to 2.30pm) and we will be catering a private event for dinner.

We are open as normal on Saturday, 14th March and we hope to serve you delicious north and south Indian delicacies.

Today, we were honored by the visit of Senthil, a famous Tamil comedian and film star.

Mr Sentil began his film career in the late 1970s and has acted in hundreds of films across Tamil, with some in Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi, often in supporting or comic roles. His comedy is often physical, witty, and paired with sharp one-liners and he has left a lasting legacy in Tamil entertainment, with countless compilation videos still popular online

Special Pongal Vegetarian Lunch - 14th Jan

HAPPY PONGAL.

Pongal festival is a vibrant celebration of harvest and thanksgiving, marking the end of the winter solstice. It is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by people of all ages, in mid-January.

Pongal traditions involve decorating the house with colorful rangolis, drawing kolams in front of the house, and preparing a special sweet dish called Pongal - a pot of rice cooked with milk and jaggery which has to bubble over to symbolize prosperity and abundance.

Come celebrate Pongal with us with our Special Vegetarian Lunch buffet this Wednesday (14th January).

To usher in the new year, Dakshin's Phnom Penh is honored to invite you to our New Year Lunch Buffet.

A full compliment of Indian and Singaporean dishes (catering to both vegetarian and non- vegetarian) will be served and includes the following:

Starter : Curry Puff, Fried Bee Hoon.

Main Course : Biryani Rice, Basmati Rice, Dakshin's Chicken Special, Goan Fish Curry, Tulang Merah (Mutton Bone Marrow), Dhal Tadka, Mix Veg Khorma, Eggplant Masala.

Breads: Coin Paratha, Assorted Naan (Plain/Butter/Garlic).

Dessert: Black Rice Payasam (Pulot Hitam), Fresh Fruits.
