F is a professional learning community, founded by women and run by women. At our first site, our learning is focused on re-modeling fast food systems to be good for the planet and good for people. We are reading, watching and learning from others to better ourselves and our work, everyday. Our space is integrated with nature and aims to inspire and promote health and abundance. As a social enterp
rise, we benefit from earned revenue via our café and from donors, funders and grants that support our continued outreach and future franchising. All of our staff hope to leverage the systems, structures, planning and project management skills to open a franchise of F, whether a shop, café, beauty salon or otherwise. To practice their skills, each staff member chooses an outreach project that supports the up-skilling of our community with the health of our planet at the core. We are currently fundraising to launch our community-facing programs such as open mic night, book club, language exchange and up-cycled arts workshops.
