The Coral Islands and marine reserve around shimoni are on our doorstep. The local fishing community and sport fisherman remain dynamic and the environment is full of healthy marine life . Miles of amazing diving and snorkeling inside Kisite Mpunguti marine reserve are just a boat ride away, where 95% of visits include seeing and swimming alongside dolphins, turtles , snappers, rays and many of the most amazing fish of the Indian ocean. The Coral is alive with color in better condition than most reefs anywhere you will see in the world today. That’s just the tip of an experience to shimoni …….. for 20 years we have served sport fisherman, scuba divers , snorkelers, honeymooners and friends to explore , discover and feel the Kenya of Old, where time has mercifully stood still, and the masses have not taken over. Now, we also offer just 6 spacious comfortable cottages, a roof top suite overlooking the Wasini channel, and a residential house for visitors who prefer to do some self catering. There is also a new deep pool for training , a spa service for guests , and a revitalized exciting menu for our guests who just want to relax and enjoy the privacy that Shimoni is special for.

Located along the shores of Wasini channel and the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, the lodge is home to a distinctive collection of African paintings, sculptures and handcrafted artworks gathered from different parts of Africa.
