The Namanga Adventure That Almost Became International!”
Last Saturday, a group boarded our van at 6:00 AM.
Everyone was excited.
Snacks packed.
Phones fully charged.
One guy even carried a small suitcase.
We asked him,
“Bro… are you relocating?”
He said,
“I’m not taking chances. What if Tanzania refuses to let me go back?” 😭😂
That’s when we knew… this Namanga trip was going to be serious!
As we approached Namanga Border, the group became very quiet. Suddenly everyone started checking their pockets.
“Where is my ID?”
“Do we need a passport?”
“Will they stamp my forehead?”
Relax 😄 it’s a day trip, not exile!
We took photos at the Kenya–Tanzania signboard.
Half of the group stood in Kenya.
Half stood in Tanzania.
One lady shouted:
“Guys, technically I’m international now. Call me Madam Ambassador!” 😂

After lunch, nyama choma was serious business.
One of the guys said,
“If food tastes this good near the border, imagine how love must taste internationally!”
We ignored him. He was hungry.
By evening, everyone was tired but happy.
Phones full of photos.
Hearts full of memories.
And nobody got deported 😄
