An incredible coffee connection toward Australia and Japan happend in Nishiogikubo today🇦🇺☕️🇯🇵

She is a very dignified and noble woman. For those of us who love and live in Nishi-Ogikubo, it is wonderful to know that people from overseas also appreciate the tranquility of this town and the vibrant atmosphere created by its many independent shops. Perhaps foreign tourists who appreciate the everyday life of Japan are a better fit for Nishi-Ogikubo than fickle tourists. I hope that in the future, coffee carefully cultivated by hill tribes “Karen”of Thailand will become popular not with large corporations, but with Australians who appreciate the local coffee shop culture.
We promised to meet again , after she returned to the cafe in the evening, and I saw her off, but the Japanese man came to see her shortly afterward. Apparently, as they passed each other, she pointed towards the cafe and gestured as if to say, "Come in! Come in!"😆

つい、ついつい、という沢山の偶然の流れが続いたという後藤さんの今回の旅ですが、まさか、西荻窪村を歩いていたら見知らぬ外国人から誘（いざな）われる、という。
沖縄弁のイントネーションで出身地の北海道のことを話すというバイリンガル感と、沢山の共通点などがあり、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。
人と人の出会いというのは、本当にわからない。
狙って何かをやるよりも、こうやって成り行き任せに事が運んでいくことの楽しさを物語ってくれました。
思えば、タイを初めて訪れた翌日にいきなりイサーン地方の農村部の家族に泊めてもらうという体験も、今度はタイ語会話帳を持参をして万全だと思いきや、二回目に訪れたラフ族とアカ族はタイ語通じない人ばかりで会話帳が全く役に立たなかった体験も、全ては笑顔とジェスチャーで楽しく過ごしました。
あの時、言葉が通じずとも、心が通じる経験をした、懐かしい感動のとき。
そして今日、その頃の体験とは同じではないものの、ジェスチャーで何となく通じたという他人同士の体験に大変嬉しさを感じました。
肩に力が入らずに生きていける、西荻窪村の出来事を皆さんへ共有させていただきました。
