🌭☕️mill pour coffee☕️🌭
Last day🥲 I think this was my fave. idk if it’s just cuz this was my last coffee here🤷‍♀️ I’m already missing it- I feel like I barely even scratched the surface to japan’s coffee!

I looooved the emphasis on organic and sustainable ingredients here. I ordered my first ever flat white, and 😗🤌🏼 delish. The espresso was so unique and it really made this cup stand out.

Threw in our macaroon photo, mostly just to show off my nails🧸🍓 - highly recommend getting your nails done in Japan. The amount of detail they put into the entire process is incredible.

I’ll miss you, Japan! See you again..😘

Today’s trip to Kyoto could have easily been named “how much coffee can I drink in one day?” Well, I had to stop at three, and then throw in some soft serve🍦
This was actually the best coffee I’ve had in Japan. 🥹

Coffee: meh
Pastries and baked goods: delightful 😗🤌🏼
Literally so many options. Strawberry daifuku, melon roll, ham and cheese croisssnt, hot dog sandwich (yes, different than just a reg hotdog). It seems that the Japanese make quite a lot of things into sandwiches. I mean, with as bread as good and fluffy as they have, I would too🤷‍♀️

The bakery is just a 12 min walk from the beach so yes, we took an entire tote bag full of pastries to enjoy while admiring the coastline😌

Located at Kumano Hongu Taisha. I ordered just a simple cafe latte and it paired so perfectly with the くまみつカステラ (kumamitsu castella), a fluffy cake made with rare Japanese honey🤤

Here’s what made it even better… Literally one of the most beautiful sights I’ve seen. And I’m not joking, everytime I looked up at the mountains I was brought to tears. I was here last year and it was beautiful then, but I dunno, something about the view hit different this time🥲

This was one of the cafés I was most excited to visit, and it tooootally did not disappoint. Cozy, delish coffee, and beautiful flowers.
There is one downside though.. I can’t take any plants back home with me🥲🥺… still mourning that, honestly.
