Ryan and his lovely family, a cheerful family of four from the UK 🇬🇧, came to dine with us today. Both parents work in education, and they brought along their little baby 👶 and their 13-year-old boy 👦.
The baby rode on his dad’s shoulders as they came in, and once settled into his high chair 💺, I put a little Kirby toy ⭐️ by his side to keep him company during the meal. From start to finish, he held onto it tightly, happily sipping water.
He balanced being cute and focused, taking one bite at a time of his kids’ pasta 🍝.
Seeing the adults enjoying the lobster pasta, he was keen to try a little in his own bowl—and he savored every bite, his face lighting up with delight. When the kids are happy, the adults can enjoy their meal in peace; truly grateful 🙏.
The beef for dinner was simply amazing 🥩.
The Omi A5 sirloin, 420g, had perfect marbling. The exterior was lightly seared to a golden crisp, while the inside remained tender and juicy—pure temptation.
The lobster pasta 🍝 was fragrant with a silky, rich sauce, and the hidden gem of Wagyu fried rice had each grain perfectly separate, infused with the luxurious aroma of Wagyu beef.
One dish after another, the parents’ faces were filled with contentment, and the boy’s smile was especially radiant 🌸.
The photos were taken by the boy himself, and I was genuinely impressed 📸. His mom laughed and said, “He’s our best photographer.”
In a warm, intelligent, loving, and affirming family, a child’s growth shines beautifully. You can see their happiness shining through every photo ✨.
Grateful, as always ☺️
