Master the Days of the Week in Japanese! 🗓️✨

Want to keep track of your schedule in Japanese? Here are the days of the week, plus 3 super useful words for daily conversation!

🌙 Getsuyoubi = Monday (Moon Day)
🔥 Kayoubi = Tuesday (Fire Day)
💧 Suiyoubi = Wednesday (Water Day)
🌲 Mokuyoubi = Thursday (Wood Day)
✨ Kinyoubi = Friday (Gold/Metal Day)
🪨 Doyoubi = Saturday (Earth/Soil Day)
☀️ Nichiyoubi = Sunday (Sun Day)
🔹 Kyou = Today
🔹 Ash*ta = Tomorrow
🔹 Kinou = Yesterday

💡 Pro Tip: The first kanji of each weekday represents nature (Moon, Fire, Water, Wood, Gold, Earth, Sun)! Remembering these elements makes memorizing the days way easier! 🧠✨

Hi This is Araya☺️

Today was a day full of languages and new discoveries at our community!
We had a German lesson, and we were especially excited to have a German native speaker join us! Learning and practicing German together with a native speaker made the class even more useful and engaging. It was a great opportunity to learn not only the language, but also how it is actually used by native speakers!

We also had a Korean lesson taught by a native Korean teacher! We started with the basics and learned Korean step by step in a fun and relaxed atmosphere✨

From German to Korean, it was a wonderful day of learning, meeting new people, and experiencing different languages and cultures!

This is Kana!
Today, we made our own traditional Japanese fans, called uchiwa. 🎐
Japanese summers can be really hot and humid, but using an uchiwa gives you a nice little breeze and makes you feel a bit cooler. Everyone decorated their own fan and created something unique to them.
Now that we’ve made our original uchiwa, we can actually use them throughout the rest of the summer! ☀️

Hi I'm KANA!

Today, we had a ramen-making event! 🍜
Everyone made their own original bowl of ramen by choosing their favorite toppings. It was fun seeing how differently everyone made their ramen, even though we started with the same ingredients. Some people added lots of toppings, while others kept it simple.

We also enjoyed chatting with each other while making and eating our ramen. It was a really relaxed and fun time, and I think everyone enjoyed creating their own ramen! ☺️

Thank you to everyone who joined us today! We hope to see you again at our next event!
