Our restaurant is currently seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing high-quality cuisine to our customers.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and cooking.
* Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
* Supervise kitchen staff, including training and scheduling.
* Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
* Collaborate with restaurant management to create new and innovative dishes.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
* Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
* Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
* Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required.
