A special piece of our story 💍

Long before today’s stays, the Merton was known as Jersey’s “Honeymoon Hotel”, welcoming generations of newlyweds through our doors.

We’ve been welcoming couples for decades, and we love hearing stories from guests reminiscing about their own honeymoon stays, as well as those of their parents and grandparents.

Before breakfast is served, our kitchen team is busy perfecting the art of the pancake stack. 🥞 Carefully measured, expertly balanced, and tested for maximum morning happiness… even if one mysteriously goes missing. 😉

With just 2 weeks to go until the Merton reopens, the team is making sure every detail is ready for the perfect start to your day - and yes, that includes the pancake machine!

As we wrap up another brilliant year, we couldn’t resist giving you a little sneak peek of our brand-new 2026 campaign, Fine-Tuned for Fun. This new campaign series puts our team centre stage as they carefully test, tweak and fine-tune every part of the Merton experience, so summer fun hits just right. This first look features our General Manager, Scott, and Entertainment Manager, Lee, stress-testing the Star Room with some serious Dad dancing! 🕺
