When is a beach not a beach? When it's got a Volley Ball Court on it ! Courtesy of The Lighthouse Beach Cafe ,for your enjoyment, Old Grumpy has spent the morning laying out a Volley Ball Court, he says just like Adolf he only has one ball and he keeps that in the kiosk, use it for a £10 refundable deposit, just ask.
The Management, HA, HA,HA, cannot accept responsibility for ANY deaths or injuries caused whilst using this facility,use at your own risk.
Tear the kids away from their screens and take them to the beach whilst you can, abuse it you lose it !

Great News Folks, thanks to the team effort of Neptune, (King of The Sea), Jupiter, (God of Clouds, Rain and Thunder) and The Grumpy Old Boss, (God Almighty), and with absolutely no help from the Dept. of Infrastructure and Environment yet again, La Mare Beach has got sand !!! First time in 8 years that we can recall it looking like it did before the "Experts" built La Collette Headland and illegal Toxic Waste Dump and changed all the sea currents.
Sun and Temp. are up, Tables are down so come on and get some sand between your toes this Bank Holiday week-end. Open for Thai Food Thaiday/Satayday/Funday 10.00-21.00 and Bank Holiday Monday 10.00-5.00 for colddrinks/Ice Cream and our English Menu.
Rip off your clothes and get some sun on your white bits this Weekend!

That means that next week we open 5 days a week, Friendsday, Thirstday, Thaiday, Satayday and Funday 10-2.00/5.00-9.00, for all your Bacon Rolls etc. and of course our Fantastic Thai Food ! We have now added Wings'nThings to the Menu, 4 succulent deep fried Chicken Wings with either our homemade sweet chilli sauce or our secret meaty sauce, just £8.00 or why not add either Egg Fried Rice or Chips for just £9.95 ! A week earlier than planned, but thanks to some early summer weather forecast, the Beach Tables are down , YEAAAA ! The old school tunes will be on, our table servers are all fired up and the Chefs are cookin' on gas, so all we need is YOU this Thaiday,Satayday and Funday ! Fuel prices are ramping up so why not save some hard earned cash by letting Deliveryou bring our delicious Thai Food straight to your door this Thaiday, Satayday and Funday, hot, on time and at affordable prices. Of course we love to see your bright shiny little faces if you prefer to collect and have a chat, but don't forget that the clocks go forward 1 hour this weekend, so we lose an hour of sleep but can look forward to some long light evenings ahead, good luck explaining that to your children and dogs !!!
