🇬🇧 Two wonders of Rome. One took eighty years to build. The other I make in twenty minutes.

The Colosseum has been standing for nearly two thousand years and everyone comes to see it. Good for them. But come and eat too, because Rome isn’t just ancient stones. Rome is the guanciale sizzling, the tomato bubbling, the pecorino falling over the amatriciana like snow in January. Rome is this. Come taste it.

🇬🇧 The world was grey. Then the amatriciana arrived.

There’s a moment in life when everything changes. For some it’s love, for some it’s a journey. For me it was the first plate of real amatriciana, made with guanciale, tomato, pecorino and nothing else. Nothing more. From that moment the world got colour, and I never lost it again.
