E non abbiamo potuto fare a meno di chiederci: New York o Roma?

Da una parte Manhattan, i cocktail e le amiche di sempre. Dall'altra Via Veneto, dove da oltre sessant'anni si viene per incontrarsi, raccontarsi le novità e restare più del previsto.

Basta un messaggio al gruppo, un tavolo all'Harry's Bar e un drink in attesa che arrivino tutte. Poi le chiacchiere e quella sensazione di essere nel posto giusto.

Nella cartolina c'è il ricordo dell'Harry's Bar di sempre, il salotto dove Fellini, Mastroianni e Anita Ekberg vivevano le notti della Dolce Vita.
Sullo sfondo c'è quello che ti accoglie oggi, restaurato con cura per conservare intatta l'anima di un'epoca.

Una storia iniziata nel 1918 come pasticceria Golden Gate, poi diventata l'American Bar più celebre di Roma.

Certe atmosfere non si ricostruiscono: si tramandano. ✨

A story that began in 1918 as the Golden Gate patisserie, which later became Rome’s most famous American Bar.

L’uomo al centro indossa un vecchio cappello del nostro locale e ci ha raccontato di averlo comprato 23 anni fa. Da quel giorno lo ha indossato per ogni suo viaggio. In ognuno di questi ha incontrato persone a cui ha raccontato del nostro locale e di quanto si fosse trovato bene. Alcuni giorni fa è tornato da noi proprio con quel cappello ed ovviamente si è accorto che lo stavamo osservando, ci ha salutato e ci ha raccontato questa fantastica storia. Prima di andare via abbiamo voluto omaggiarlo con un nuovo cappellino che lo accompagnerà nei prossimi viaggi. Si è commosso e quasi non ci credeva e gli occhi erano lucidi. La moglie al suo fianco era emozionata. Abbiamo immortalato questo momento e abbiamo deciso di renderlo pubblico. Queste umili persone hanno fatto sì che il nostro locale fosse conosciuto in tutti i luoghi che hanno visitato e ci sembrava giusto rendergli omaggio. Buona vita amici The man in the center is wearing an old hat from our establishment; he told us he bought it 23 years ago and has worn it on every trip since. Along the way, he met people and told them all about our place and what a wonderful time he had here. A few days ago, he returned wearing that hat; he noticed us looking at him, so he greeted us and shared this amazing story. Before he left, we wanted to gift him a new cap to accompany him on his future travels. He was deeply moved with tears welling up in his eyes. His wife, standing beside him, was also visibly touched. We captured the moment and decided to share it publicly. These humble people helped spread the word about our place wherever they traveled, and we felt it was only right to honor them. All the best, friends.
