Ti racconto una storia. La storia di una famiglia... racchiusa in una bottiglia. 🍷
Mombasiglio 1938
Emilio Trinello, viticoltore in Mombasiglio, in occasione della chiamata di leva dei 3 figli aveva sepolto in cantina una bottiglia a testa per berla assieme ai soldati al proprio ritorno.
Lo fece anche nel 1938 quando era stato arruolato il terzogenito Giovanni.
Alla fine della guerra 2 bottiglie vennero stappate. Una invece no perché il Don aveva chiesto un tributo di sangue anche alla famiglia di Emilio.
Questa è quella bottiglia.
In memoria di Giovanni Trinello
disperso in Russia.

Let me tell you a story. The story of a family... captured in a bottle.
Mombasiglio 1938
Emilio Trinello, a winemaker from Mombasiglio, upon the conscription of his three sons, buried a bottle of wine in his cellar for each of them, with the intention of opening them together with the soldiers upon their return.
He did the same in 1938, when his third-born son, Giovanni, was called up for military service.
At the end of the war, two bottles were uncorked. One remained untouched, because the war had demanded a sacrifice of blood from Emilio’s family as well.
This is that bottle.
