Evok keeps showing up in busy hotel bars, high-turnover cafés, and restaurant counters where the margin for error is small and the service never really stops. The Elektra Belle Epoque was part of a temporary exhibition at the Transport Museum in Budapest. The show traced the history of coffee culture from 1683 to the present day, from the siege of Vienna through the legendary Budapest café houses to the specialty scene of today.
Being included in that timeline means something. The Belle Epoque has always been an object that carries a story. Seeing it placed inside one felt right.
