Kokteill mánaðarins er Kir Royal með glænýjum Friðheima jarðarberjalíkjör 🍓🥂 Jarðarberjalíkjörinn er unninn úr okkar jarðarberjum af 64° Reykjavík Distillery. Ferskur, ávaxtaríkur og hátíðlegur kokteill - beint frá gróðurhúsinu í glasið.
Vín mánaðarins 🍷🍅
Það er sérstaklega skemmtileg saga á bak við vín mánaðarins hjá okkur að þessu sinni. Þau koma bæði frá Domaine de Bellevue í Saint-Pourçain í Frakklandi, víngerð Jacques Gautier, góðs vinar Knúts og Helenu til margra ára.
En Jacques tilheyrir Gautier-fjölskyldunni sem stendur að baki Gautier Semences: fyrirtækisins sem þróaði Piccolo-tómatinn árið 1996. Piccolo hefur síðan orðið stór hluti af okkar sögu hér á Friðheimum og því er sérstaklega gaman að fá nú vín frá Jacques í hús.
Í október gefum við smá forskot á sæluna áður en vínin koma formlega inn á vínseðilinn okkar um áramót.
🥂 Gabrielle er ferskt og fágað hvítvín úr Chardonnay, Tressallier og Sauvignon Blanc, með gulum ávöxtum, blómum og fínlegum hunangskeim.
3.100 kr. glasið í október.
🍷 Urbain V 2019 er fágað og vel uppbyggt rauðvín úr Pinot Noir og Gamay, með rauðum og dökkum berjum, mildum kryddtónum og fínlegri eik.
3.500 kr. glasið í október.

Our cocktail and w**es of the month come with a little reading this time: because there is an unusually fun story behind them.
Cocktail of the month: Kir Royal with our brand-new Friðheimar Strawberry Liqueur 🍾🍓 The strawberry liqueur is made from our own strawberries by 64° Reykjavík Distillery. Fresh, fruity and festive - straight from the greenhouse to the glass.
Wines of the month 🍇🍷
There is a particularly lovely story behind our w**es of the month this time. Both come from Domaine de Bellevue in Saint-Pourçain, France, the w**ery of Jacques Gautier, a long-time good friend of Knútur and Helena.
Jacques belongs to the Gautier family behind Gautier Semences: the company that developed the Piccolo tomato in 1996. Piccolo has since become a big part of our story here at Friðheimar, so it is especially wonderful to now welcome w**es from Jacques into our house.
In October, we are offering a little preview before the w**es officially join our w**e list around New Year.
🥂 Gabrielle is a fresh and refined white w**e made from Chardonnay, Tressallier and Sauvignon Blanc, with yellow fruit, floral notes and a delicate hint of honey.
3,100 ISK per glass in October.
🍷 Urbain V 2019 is a refined and well-structured red w**e made from Pinot Noir and Gamay, with red and dark berries, gentle spice notes and subtle oak.
3,500 ISK per glass in October.
