A month ago, with a heavy heart, we closed Madras Tiffin Centre for renovation work. But we were excited at the same time as we planned on bringing to life a new dream we’ve been nurturing for a while now.

We wanted to bring the ‘thaninaadan’ dishes of Kerala to the food enthusiasts of Trivandrum - dishes that remind us of growing up, dishes the thought of which is mouthwatering, dishes our parents and grandparents cooked with love for us.

This week, that dream bore fruition. We are proud to present ‘Paaykappal’ to bring to you the diverse flavours of Kerala!

It was a big step to transform a vegetarian restaurant with a loyal customer base to a non-vegetarian one. Even though we have introduced non vegetarian dishes, we will continue to serve most of the old vegetarian delights that made MTC a hit with the people of Trivandrum.

We need your support and feedback as we open our doors for a soft launch of ‘Paaykappal’. Looking forward to serving you!
