Inclusion is on the menu at this cafe in Chattisgarh which hires only people with disabilities and from the transgender community. On Dec. 10, the Human Rights Day, the café received the NCPEDP-Mindtree Helen Keller Award 2020 for showing “commitment towards promoting equal employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.” Surabhi Singh tells the story of Nukkad Cafe and how it is a shining beacon of hope for those who work there.
