United Hospitality Association (UHA) extends its full support to the *_Maharashtra State Bandh_* of Permit Rooms and Bars on Monday, 14th July 2025, in protest against the arbitrary and crushing burden imposed on the hospitality sector.

The recent hike in excise license fees for FL-3 bars, a 60% increase in excise duty, and the doubling of VAT on liquor have delivered a severe blow to an already struggling industry.

UHA stands in solidarity with fellow stakeholders to demand fair, just, and sustainable taxation policies.
