Here's a word cloud we created that talks about the the emotions, rituals, and moments that connect us with Maa Durga. 🙏

From Anjoli to the Pandal, from Surrender to Devotion, these and many more words capture the emotions of Maa's devotees.

What words do you associate with Maa and Pujo? Drop them in the comments below! 👇

Let’s build a bigger word cloud together and celebrate our shared bond as one big family.

Do you remember your Pujo when you were just in your teens, or maybe younger?

New clothes. Pandal hopping with friends, rehearsing for months for the cultural performances during Pujo, bhog-er khichudi.... I can go on

Then life happened. We grew up. Moved to different places, away from home...and Pujo became different.

But the moment you hear the dhaak or catch the smell of dhunuchi, something comes rushing back.
For a little while, you’re that child again. ❤️

Do share in the comments, what are those little Pujo memories you still carry from your childhood?

What is one thing you want Bappa to bless you with this year?❤️

The festive spirit is already in the air.

Before we immerse ourselves in the devotion for Ma Durga, Bappa has arrived, bringing wisdom, hope, and a reminder that every new beginning needs courage.

What do you want?
A little peace?
A fresh start?
More strength?
Or simply… bhalo khabar, and moner shanti?

August 15 couldn’t be a better day to reflect on the journey of Bengali cuisine.

The arduous journey from Opar Bangla that began with Partition was paved with pain, loss and uncertainty. No one could have imagined that from those painful journeys would emerge a richer, more vibrant Bengal.

When Opar Bangla met Epar Bangla, they argued over ilish and chingri, posto and morich. But slowly, their kitchens began to borrow from each other.

Eventually, the rivalry became heritage.
The differences became diversity.
And two Bengals came together to shape the Bengali cuisine we know and love today.

This Independence Day, let us celebrate the resilience of those who rebuilt their lives, alongside the courage of those who fought for our freedom.

Jai Hind. 🇮🇳
