Another successful one-month batch of our Hobby Baking Workshops has been completed, with a fresh group of trainees from the Afghan community through Simurgh Center receiving their certifications.

Meanwhile, our ongoing 3-month baking workshop batch continues with hands-on training, learning, and skill development in German baking.

It was a pleasure for Organic German Bakeshop to be part of the KED Lit Festival at Kunskapsskolan Gurgaon School yesterday with our German bakery stall.

Students had the opportunity to enjoy complimentary samples of our fresh, chemical-free German baked specialties and also explored a selection of authentic baked products.

Such events are always a meaningful way for us to introduce the richness and authenticity of German food culture to students and young learners in India.

Over the past few weeks, we had the pleasure of hosting our regular Friday sales stalls at the German Embassy, the Italian Embassy, and breakfast stalls for the students of the German School.

Special highlights included our German Bakery & Afghan Food collaboration stall at the International Cultural and Food Festival at JNU on 23.04.2026, as well as our German Bakery stall at Gyan Bharti School during their Eurofest on 25.04.2026.

Both events were wonderful celebrations of culture, community, international cuisine, and student engagement, where visitors enjoyed authentic German baked goods with great enthusiasm.

Organic German Bakeshop was proud to be part of Namaste Deutschland hosted by Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan in association with DPS Society and Delhi Public School Sector-45 Gurgaon on April 18, 2026.

With 86 schools and over 1,500 participants, the event celebrated global collaboration and culture. We conducted Brezel baking workshops for students and set up a stall serving authentic German baked goods and health-conscious products.

We are also open to collaborating with schools and events to conduct workshops and set up stalls, bringing an authentic German experience to students and young learners.

Final Day of 3rd Training Round with SES Experts
SES German Master Baker Andreas Koop and Master Chef Christoph Judith successfully completed two-week training programs in Delhi and Varanasi, respectively. The final day of training was 7th April for Andreas Koop and 27th March for Christoph Judith.
This round focused on key areas including operations and management, hygiene and cleanliness, catering and restaurant cooking, and efficient, inclusive workforce organization. Our management and operations teams, along with senior trainers and bakers, actively participated, while trainees and interns also gained valuable hands-on learning.
We also initiated a meaningful collaboration with STOP (Stop Trafficking and Oppression of Children and Women) to strengthen vocational training efforts. SES experts evaluated this initiative to help ensure its long-term impact and effectiveness.

🌟 A Warm Welcome and Bright Futures at Goethe-Zentrum Trivandrum! 🌟
Our Day 4 was truly special! We gathered at the beautiful Goethe-Zentrum Trivandrum for a fantastic baking demonstration and information session. A heartfelt thank you to our gracious host, Dr. Syed Ibrahim (Director of Goethe-Zentrum Trivandrum and Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany for Kerala), for opening his doors to us.
We were also joined by Ms. Reshmi M.B. from KASE, and we appreciate her support for our initiatives. 🤝
While fresh baking filled the air, the conversation centered on real opportunities. Participants were introduced to our 2-year Dual Vocational Training Program in India, designed as the perfect preparation for a professional Ausbildung in Germany.
A big thanks to our dedicated instructors for leading another enthusiastic session. It's inspiring to see so much focus on international careers!

Expanding Horizons at Women’s ITI Kazhakootam! 🥨⚡🧵
Day 3 was about much more than just baking! We were energized by a massive turnout at Govt. Women’s ITI, where the focus shifted toward future careers. We spent the day discussing professional pathways for students in Front Office, Electrician, and Tailoring trades.
This builds on the momentum from our first two days, where, in cooperation with KASE and the respective principals, we also offered similar placements in India.
We are proud to offer placements in our 2-year Dual Education Program right here in India—a vital stepping stone for those aiming for a professional Ausbildung in Germany (starting as early as 2028).
A special thanks to Mr. Shibu (Business Development Manager, KASE) for his coordination, and to our instructors Andreas (SES) and Michael Schmid (Organic German Bake Shop) for leading the way.
We also want to acknowledge the invaluable partnership of Dr. Syed Ibrahim and the Goethe-Zentrum Trivandrum team, as well as the constant support of Brygida Cyra from Cyra Café.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Organic German Bakeshop held a collaborative Baking Workshop with the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA), UP Unit in Noida.

Our team of expert bakers and trainees demonstrated the art of baking Pretzels, Muffins, and Ginger Cookies (Lebkuchen Herzen) to women participants, introducing them to baking as a potential career or business opportunity.

The workshop was guided by SES Expert from Germany, Mr. Christoph-Phillip Judith, with SES India Representative Mr. Manish Jain also present. Our baking interns from Kerala, who are preparing for Ausbildung in Germany, were also present and participated in the workshop.

During the event we also introduced our vocational training program and the mission of our organization to the participants.
Special thanks to Ms. Deepthi Nair (National Lead - Skills Development, Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust) and Mr. Jayaraj Nair (National Additional General Secretary, AIMA) for making this collaboration possible.

We were pleased to welcome Mrs. Ulrike Puetz, International Department Project Coordinator Asia at Senior Expert Service (SES) gGmbH, to Organic German Bakeshop today. She was received by Mr. Michael Schmid and Benjamin Pfrang, along with members of our team.

The visit included an overview of our operations and interactions with trainees preparing for Ausbildung. Discussions also covered our ongoing collaboration with SES, including expert visits to Delhi and Varanasi for training in baking, cooking, and architectural development, as well as future initiatives such as the VerA Program (Verhinderung von Ausbildungsabbrüchen) program for international trainees and interns.

Mrs. Puetz was accompanied by Mr. Manish Jain from SES India. We appreciate the continued partnership and support from SES in advancing skill development initiatives.

Team Organic German Bakeshop hosted an interactive baking workshop with Class V students from Delhi Public School Sec 45 Gurgaon and visiting Class VII students from Badi Asha School, Varanasi (Learn for Life).

Through our “Learn German Through Baking – Backen Deutsch Lernen” model, students baked together, learned German words, and shared joyful moments. Our directors Michael Schmid and Nicole Seregni encouraged the students’ enthusiasm for language, culture, and baking.

Our Kerala interns preparing for Ausbildung in Germany were also part of Team Organic German Bakeshop, supporting and inspiring the young participants.
